Our "Take a Peek" series of tunnel books, inspired
by Victorian paper toys, have intricately-cut
layers attached to accordion sides. When expanded,
these books provide a three-dimensional view of
the central image and the wrap around cover serves
as a stand for display. Beautifully printed and
carefully assembled, these tunnel books have a
sturdy board cover, and include a 16-page booklet.

Joan Sommers is a book designer and the author
of several tunnel books including A Sunday on
La Grande Jatte, Henri Rousseau, The Coral Reef,
The Dancing Skeletons and The Rainbow Bird.
She lives in Chicago.
